This place is the king of the hoodies, from such board brands as Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy and Hurley. A magnet for the sun-and-surf set (and looking very much like a cleaned-up head shop for affluent hippies), Overkill also stocks jeans ($50–$70); a great selection of sandals from Reef, Quiksilver, Billabong and O’Neill; lots of bikinis, board and walking shorts (plaids, pinstripes, cargos) in summer; and such surf-friendly items as tropical-coloured flip-flops ($15–$70) in an array of colours and styles. The store’s own line of sweats is a big seller, as is its variety of brightly coloured T-shirts.
