Unlike many stores on Queen Street West’s commercial strip, Decibel is subtle. The vibe inside is positively laid-back, as hip Bay Streeters and grown-up skateboarders browse to chilled, jazzy sounds. They’re checking out Penguin retro golf shirts and lambswool sweaters ($60–$98), and Volcom’s three-piece geometric pinstriped suitings with artist-screened graphic linings ($210). Dark denim is back, so jeans by We Are the Superlative Conspiracy and Melting Pot (both $150) are very popular. The shop also carries a huge variety of fedoras.
