Consider Carbon, a new midtown jeans and T-shirt boutique, more as owner Alex Mazelow’s giant walk-in closet than a casual menswear shop. Mazelow has tried on everything in the store (we caught him testing a pair of Ever jeans), and he models the store’s designer denim and graphic tees for women shopping for absent boyfriends.
