Trendy stores come and go, but Stollery’s—an outpost of posh British tradition—has been here for more than 100 years. On the ground floor, look for faultless tailoring in shirts by Daks ($145–$295), Aquascutum ($145–$195) and Jaguar ($195–$295). Upstairs, understated business suits by Daks and Scabal (all $995–$3,000), as well as dinner jackets by Scabal ($800–$1,500) offer the drape and soft construction that separates luxury clothing from stiff, mass-produced menswear. No jeans are sold; instead, men will find upscale cords ($295) and casual cotton pants. Devoted to womenswear, the third floor features four-ply cashmere cardigans ($295–$1,000) and wool-angora blend coats ($995–$1,500).
