Trendy stores come and go, but Stollerys—an outpost of posh British tradition—has been here for more than 100 years. On the ground floor, look for faultless tailoring in shirts by Daks ($145–$295), Aquascutum ($145–$195) and Jaguar ($195–$295). Upstairs, understated business suits by Daks and Scabal ($995–$3,000), as well as blazers from Aquascutum ($795–$1,495), offer the drape and soft construction that separate luxury clothing from stiff, mass-produced menswear. No jeans here. Instead, men will find a good selection of upscale cords ($295). Devoted to womenswear, the third floor features amazingly soft four-ply cashmere cardigans ($295–$1,000) and classy wool-cashmere-blend coats ($595–$3,000).
