Like most European boutiques, Psyche stocks a bit of everything: casual, business and evening-wear. In colder months, the store stocks comforting knitwear from Montreal’s popular label Carv. Owner Dorine Protas says party frocks are a favourite, as well as feminine streetwear from Montreal’s Lady Dutch ($15–$250) and Italy’s Twin-Set. General trends are feminine and sophisticated (nothing too avant-garde). Expect to find perfectly tailored suits ($400–$600) for work and affordable cocktail dresses ($195–$250) for after work; both deliver polished looks that don’t break the bank.
