Going strong after 34 years, this cheery Yorkville institution is still Toronto’s first stop for high-quality denim, with flattering jeans in just about every cut, rise and wash imaginable. Customers run the gamut from clued-in teens to fashionable moms to the men who love them. Trendies snap up such celebrity favourites as Citizens of Humanity, Paige, True Religion and Rock and Republic (all $200–$400); more affordable jeans by Mavi (from $90) are also available. To complement the denim, there’s a good selection of casual gear from Juicy Couture, Splendid and Dex.
