Exposed beams, salvaged wood floors and dangling light bulbs emit a warm, minimalist vibe at this sleek Queen West shop. Girls can pair oversized Debbie Harry shirts in Warhol-esque colours ($150) with black leggings, while guys discover their inner Bowie with bedazzled Thin White Duke Ts ($99) by House of Gods. Hoodies emblazoned with tattoo art (Buddhist Punk, $235) and Tetris designs (Junk de Luxe, $200) are designed for men, but could easily be appropriated by stylish, drawer-ransacking girlfriends. The same goes for Canadiana Ts from DSquared ($195–$250) and McQ’s tank tops ($140), but Filippa K tweed miniskirts ($225) and skinny Acne jeans ($249) are strictly for the femmes.
