A former Portuguese bakery with a giant stuffed marlin on the wall, this light-filled corner store has a vaguely Hemingway–in–Key West feel. Much of the menswear is either retro or reworked vintage; imaginative offerings include hoodies with prints of lions and air-brushed stars and pitchforks ($110), and waistcoats with appliqués of butterflies and swallows ($95). Shirts display whimsical touches; ties ($50) bear such enigmatic words as “hotel” or appliquéd images of safety pins. The store also carries womenswear, including elegant dresses by hometown label Mercy ($180–$320), pretty jackets, and lovely dresses ($360) from Toronto-based Karamea.
