A former Portuguese bakery with a giant stuffed marlin on the wall, this light-filled store has a vaguely Hemingway–in–Key West feel. Much of the menswear is locally designed; imaginative offerings include zip tops from Legin with prints of lions ($90), and waistcoats with appliqués of ships and swallows ($95). Shirts, many of them silkscreened by the store’s owner, Julian Finkle, display whimsical touches; ties ($50) bear such enigmatic words as “hotel” or appliquéd images of safety pins. The store also carries womenswear, including reworked vintage items from Toronto-based label I Heart Cake ($74–$88) and elegant cardigans and silk dresses by Montreal’s Véronique Miljkovitch ($240). Silkscreen classes are available.
