The supermarket is suddenly a fashion destination, thanks to design guru Joe Mimran, founder of Club Monaco and the late Caban. So far, it’s proving to be dangerous; people come in to buy a litre of milk and end up dropping $200 on clothing. And it’s easy to see why: items range from work-appropriate trousers (from $29) and turtlenecks (from $16) to down-filled winter jackets ($49). On-trend finds include skinny jeans ($29), chic ballet flats ($14–$19) and cropped big-button jackets ($39). The line also features activewear and pyjamas, as well as a few conservative items for men, including basic Ts ($8), jeans ($39) and button-downs ($19–$24).
