A visit to Chocky’s is a pre-camp ritual. In anticipation of the weeks away, kids and parents work through rows of bargain underwear, socks and Ts. On a recent visit, tanks went for $6; kids’ T-shirts in a rainbow of colours were also $6 each (pack of four, $20). Men’s and women’s flannel pants are priced from $10 to $13; American Apparel V-necks come in a wide variety of colours for $18. Keep warm with thermal underwear from Fruit of the Loom, Joe Boxer and Hanes for $3, or leggings from Forever 21 for $10.
