Their “sweatshop-free” status and sexy ads featuring lusty teens in tights have attracted plenty of attention, but this international chain deserves its hype. The rainbow-coloured cotton basics (hoodies, leggings and every kind of T and tank you can imagine) are must-haves for local club kids and L.A. ladies alike (Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore are mega-fans). Such recent additions as purple skinny denim ($75) and a gold lamé windbreaker ($54) now share space with the time-tested classics. For fashionable inspiration, look no further than the stylish AA sales associates. Most of the youthful employees look as if they just stepped out of a music video (or an American Apparel ad).
