With 36 stores in Canada, Nine West is the footwear outfitter of choice for the masses. But you would swear its recent collections (featuring unusual prints, shapes and textures) came from a Yorkville boutique; the prices, however, are decidedly shopping mall–friendly. Platform and sculpted wedges and peep-toes in sleek patent leather ($90–$125)—all in bright colours—strike the right note for the season. Handbags (from $38) are on trend, too: patents are going strong, and studs and animal prints show up on any number of models. Classic pumps, loafers and boots by Nine West and Enzo Angiolini satisfy more reserved Bay Street tastes.
