The dance beats give an idea of this store’s clientele, but style doesn’t always trump comfort; C Squared sells a large selection of Camper shoes, the Spanish brand adored for making fashionably flat-soled footwear or men and women. Toes are round or pointed, and heels are wedges (or non-existent), so they’re more cute than sexy. The popular Camper Twins’ line ($200–$225) offers left and right shoes with complementary patterns. British brand Tsubo ($115–$200)—which means “pressure points” in Japanese—offers both an outer and inner sole to cushion every step. For ladies seeking a few extra inches, there’s a full range of heels; streetwear favourites include Fly London ($200–$400) and Miss Sixty in their usual bright colours.
