An edgy offshoot of Browns, B2 has its own bustling stores on Queen West, in Yorkdale Mall and the Eaton Centre. The house label offers reasonably priced takes on runway trends, but there are an increasing number of wallet-draining high-end labels (Stella McCartney and Miu Miu are two recent additions). In contrast to its conservative mother, this young upstart offers an abundance of casual athletic wear: sneakers by Puma and casual preppy kicks by Lacoste. Dressier shoes by Miss Sixty, Michael Kors and Betsey Johnson are al­­ways popular. For 2008, the motto for handbags is go big or go home.
