The minimalist decor at this Yorkville boutique is striking (ceiling lights shaped like eyes are a cute touch), but the atmosphere is relaxed and there’s plenty to sample. Noteworthy names include the adventurous Belgian line Theo (from $340), known for its avant-garde design and creative use of colour; and Ic! Berlin, with durable screwless stainless steel frames and classic designs. The collection of sunglasses, including Chrome Hearts of Los Angeles (starting at $900), and oversized Prada and Chanel numbers, will tempt glamourpusses; the adventurous seek out Christian Roth (from $380) and Cutler & Gross for a retro look.
