A popular choice for bridal and birthday fêtes, this midtown hub offers beauty on the go, from a Secrets From the Chair makeup lesson ($90) to the Grrrls Night stagette party ($75 per person). Natalie Gee and her mother, Miriam, a long-time beauty editor (Flare, Chatelaine), concentrate on the face—skin, brows, lashes, eyelids, lips—with manicure and pedicure options thrown into the mix (Express Manicure $25, Ultimate Manicure $45, Long Fetish pedicure $50, Ultimate Fetish pedicure $75). The shop opened in 2005 in a Miami-white cabana of a room with black accents, designed by former Club Monaco image shapers Christine Ralphs and Michelle Lloyd. Men seem to like it: they compose a significant portion of the clientele, lured by a detoxifying skin-reviving facial called the Sean Connery ($90). The house also carries its own makeup line, lotions and high-quality brushes. New facials include the Doctor Who (microdermabrasion and oxygen).
