Frustrated that Toronto didn’t have the same beauty products she’d found abroad and read about in international fashion mags, owner Shauna Podruzny opened her first location in 2004. Specializing in hard-to-find, high-end and natural beauty lines created by young female entrepreneurs, the beauty emporium carries such brands as Philosophy and men’s line the Art of Shaving. High-end imports include Coola Suncare (an organic line from California) and Crazylibellule and the Poppies (solid perfume sticks from France). Helpful and perky staff are only too happy to direct you to luxurious Principessa Cattiva Diva hand cream (100 mL, $17).
