Cleanly organized shelves make it easy to find the latest cosmetic indulgences here. Frustrated that Toronto didn’t have the same beauty products she’d found abroad and read about in international fashion mags, owner Shauna Podruzny opened the first location in 2004. Specializing in hard-to-find, high-end and natural beauty lines created by young female entrepreneurs, the beauty emporium carries such brands as Philosophy and Anthony Logistics for Men. New stock for 2008 includes Coola Suncare (an organic line from California) and Crazy Libellule solid perfume sticks from France. Helpful and perky staff are only too happy to direct you to the lip plumper on everyone’s lips: Cupcake Plump Balm ($9).
