Behind the mighty steel doors on Bloor, you will find tabletop accessories, gifts, crystal candlesticks (from $60 for a seven-inch squared-off neo-traditional design), stationery (custom invitations from $550 per 50) and infant gifts (a ring-shaped 1837 Tiffany teething rattle in sterling silver is $100). Amid oodles of engagement rings, you will find flapper-esque tassel earrings in 18-karat gold ($1,400), and the sterling silver heart-lock Tiffany charm ($135). In 2006, the company added Frank Gehry to its roster of designers (joining the likes of Peretti and Paloma Picasso). The master architect responded with organic shapes—a collection inspired by a fish’s body in mid-swim (individual pieces from $170)—and the crumpled-metal aesthetic he conveys in his buildings. His sterling silver Fold cufflinks ($305) look like tiny paper accordions.
