A perennial favourite of fashion editors, jewellery designer Colette Harmon opened her own boutique in 2005. She has the perfect showcase: a bright space with wood floors, clean white shelves and a massive glass display case. Her trademark is chunky charm bracelets and necklaces (usually featuring a cascading mix of crystals, semi-precious stones or decorative glass beads). Other stunners include a waterfall necklace ($250–$1,200), made of chain mail–style metal with faceted crystal beads; a slinky metal fringe (up to $2,250) can be used as a scarf, necklace or belt. Look for Colette’s own line of handbags, and hats by Karyn Gingras of Lilliput.
