This hidden gem is reminiscent of a Paris or Soho boutique. It boasts an eclectic but tastefully chosen selection of trinkets and treasures, including jewellery, handbags, sweaters, lingerie and accessories. Many of the pieces are Toronto exclusives; owner Cristina Burgess prides herself on bringing in items that are fashionable yet timeless. At these prices, that’s a good thing. City girls love sundresses by Min Young Lee, and bags by Devi Kroell and Andrea Brueckner. Thankfully, some of the items are more affordable; pretty lingerie by Eberjey has a vintage look and starts at $45. Sweaters are a serious strength at Augustina: essential cashmere and merino wool for winter ($195–$450), and light cotton for summer ($95–$150). New arrivals in-store this year are shoes and tall boots by Cynthia Vincent.
