This Kleinburg legend is an apropos setting for a Little Women film shoot or a cozy do for close family and friends. The original house, dating back to 1867, was once home to a succession of doctors, including Dr. Thomas Harvey Robinson, one of Kleinburg’s first MDs. There are a slew of banquet rooms: the large restaurant converts into a 200-seat space, and the Heritage Room seats 140 for dinner. The Verandah, Garden Room and Country Fare are smaller options, some graced with worn oak floors, candelabra, beamed ceilings and fireplaces; all are sun filled and breezy. A perfect little candlelit chapel, white as a wedding cake and replete with a dinging bell in the steeple, can seat 120 guests. Grounds are lush, landscaped and crying out for wedding pics.
