Once surrounded by water (before the city filled in its shoreline), this century-old club still boasts a unique location and a stunning view of the lake. The patio and dining rooms are members only, but the Tudor-style ballroom has hosted many a private wedding (though club policy limits it to one per day). With its chandeliers, leaded French doors, dark walnut accents and cathedral ceiling, the 200-seat room oozes old world tradition. The pale blue Solarium suits smaller weddings (seats 60) and connects to the newly expanded second-floor balcony; both have views of the lake. Wedding services can be held outside by the water, overlooking the breakwater and boats bobbing by the dock.
