Pantages Hotel & Spa

Named after the old Pantages Theatre (now the Canon), this chic boutique hotel is a good place for a showy party. In fact, grand affairs—galas, fashion shows, posh weddings—are its bread and butter, though everything from a 10-person corporate meeting to a conference for 300 can be arranged. From the lobby to the elevators, the look is straight out of a glossy travel magazine. The main party space (300 for cocktails, 220 for dinner) has a modern sheen, but the decor is neutral, allowing for flexible party planning: its 3,500 square feet can be divided into three smaller spaces, and it features high ceilings, a dance floor and 18 speakers that are conveniently built into the ceiling. The venue was recently transformed into a glitzy casino for a poker tournament featuring top-ranked card shark Daniel Negreanu. The catering kitchen is located on the same floor, and the in-house team provides star treatment. For a stylish smaller shindig, the hotel’s popular glam martini bar can also be rented, with special rates offered for holiday parties.
How much:
$500–$4,000
