Recently redone in high modernist style, complete with black leather chairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre fashionably retains its command of the heavens. With views north and south, the windows are floor to ceiling and the canopied patios (tented March through October) are the city’s highest. The romantic aerie is popular with the corporate set, but also hosts about 40 weddings a year. Rental options range from patios (up to 80 people each) or a private room (up to 65 people) to the whole space (up to 120 seated, 250 for cocktails).
How much:
entire space $8,000–$15,000 (includes food and drink); patio or private room $750–$3,500 (includes food and beverage)
Catering:
exclusively by Eatertainment; $35–$80 per person
