As a party venue, the Hockey Hall of Fame has two advantages: it offers no-holds-barred fun and inspired design. For playful gatherings, rent the concourse level (accommodates 1,000 for cocktails). Guests can stroll through the numerous exhibits of hockey nostalgia or get busy in the Interactive Zone, where they can test the speed and accuracy of their shots or practise play-by-play commentary in a simulated broadcast booth. For more stately events, there’s the 3,000-square-foot Great Hall, which can hold up to 200 people for a reception or up to 120 for dinner. A marvel of 19th-century architecture—replete with a 45-foot-high stained glass dome—it is also the domicile of the Stanley Cup.
How much:
Great Hall and concourse level $2,500 each; entire facility $4,000
