The newly renovated space is a modernist prism made of limestone and glass. The light-filled lobby is perfect for receptions, and early arrivals can peruse the ceramics, glass, wood and textiles in the gift shop. But the third floor is the main event. Jamie Kennedy will tailor a seasonal sit-down menu for 120 guests, or whip up cocktails for 200. The room’s outer walls are glass, with knockout architectural vistas: Annesley Hall and the ROM’s main entrance. At sundown, take your drink to the terrace. Behind you, the Lillian Massey building will glint a gorgeous pink till twilight falls.
