Nova Sounds Band and Entertainment

  • 416-926-1918
The mothership of bands for hire, Nova Sounds does everything for everybody, all the time. As in Alice in Wonderland, the band grows bigger or smaller on demand, depending on the occasion. And it has every genre covered: rock, disco, Latin, R&B, jazz, soul and classical. Nova has played for the big guns: the University of Toronto, Canadian Opera Company and Toronto International Film Festival. In fact, it once played classic rock at the Rogers Centre, band members’ mugs seen by 3,000 people. But they can also morph into a classical quartet for a wedding, and DJs and dancers can be arranged, too. The brainchild behind Nova Sounds is musician Alan Shiner, who penned the catchy jingle “Everyone Loves Marineland.”
