Co-owners Eric Teboekhorst and Lisa Rutland can plan your every party detail, from venue and valets to entertainment and food. Rutland’s team has served hors d’oeuvre to 1,200 and sit-down dinners to 200 but can also design intimate affairs, with chefs cooking à la minute in your home. Her north Toronto restaurant (of the same name) is run by chef Mathew Kennedy. Locally sourced, seasonal ingredients make for a bevy of catering delights: frisée salad with duck prosciutto, sweet corn, oranges and pine nut vinaigrette; dijon-herb-crusted rack of lamb with braised shank in a port-shallot reduction; venison tenderloin with roasted forelle pears; and sablefish in a honey-ginger-tamarind glaze. For dessert, caramelized banana tapioca pudding with cardamom-spiced chai sauce is popular.
