Presidential Gourmet is a preferred caterer at some 60 venues, making it one of the largest, busiest and most experienced caterers in town. The A-list client roster includes dozens of galas, fundraisers and posh launches for the Canadian Opera Company, Warner Bros. and Time Warner. For more than a decade, the company has been catering the Stratford Express, a black-tie dinner for 800 on a festival-bound train. Theatre-goers once enjoyed an Oklahoma!-themed menu that started with molasses-marinated flank steak on a bun, and cheddar-scallion phyllo bundles, followed by an upscale version of a box lunch with prairie beef tenderloin on a black bean and roasted corn salad, served with chili-corn pan bread and blueberry mustard. Menus encompass all cuisines and budgets; dietary requirements are carefully accommodated.
