EntertainingCaterers

Marigolds and Onions

Requests to cater sit-down dinners for 5,000 are easily met by M&O; the company’s chefs have spent time in the kitchens at the Hockey Hall of Fame, ROM, MaRS, Ontario Science Centre and Steam Whistle. At a party for 250 guests, executive chef Robert Christie used organic and Ontario-grown ingredients, featuring Holland Landing portobello mushrooms and mashed potato patties on miniature kaiser buns; lamb with mint, pine nuts and tahini; and prime rib with a stuffing of Rosenborg blue cheese and an avocado-and-bacon topping.

How much:
from $14.95 for corporate lunches to $65 for three-course sit-down meal; plus staff and chef’s charges.
