Requests to cater sit-down dinners for 5,000 are met with ease by M&O, who have been in business since 1999 and have spent time in the kitchens at the Hockey Hall of Fame, ROM, MaRs, Ontario Science Centre and Steam Whistle. At a recent party for 250 guests, executive chef Robert Christie used organic and Ontario-grown ingredients, featuring Holland Landing portobello mushrooms and mashed potato patties on mini-kaiser buns; lamb with mint, pine nuts and tahini; and prime rib with a stuffing of Rosenborg blue cheese and an avocado-and-bacon topping.
