Run by Tony Loschiavo, who owns the popular north Toronto restaurant Paese, L-Eat has good crowd-pleasing credentials. L-Eat prepares customized menus for every client and will arrange specialty linens, entertainment and sommelier services, along with glass, china, table and chair rentals. Hors d’oeuvre might be Vietnamese salad rolls with sweet chili dipping sauce, or foie gras on brioche. Grilled salmon brushed with maple syrup may appear as a main course. Sweet endings include fresh fruit flans and chocolate marquise.
