Attendees at a 200-guest corporate picnic noshed on chipotle chicken, debrezini sausage, old-fashioned slaw and brownies, while a romantic wedding brunch saw custard-filled apple French toast, Tuscan frittata and riesling-poached pears with lavender bonbons—both styles of event are all in a day’s work for this busy kitchen. Menus change with the seasons: a festive sit-down dinner stars fig-and-ricotta-stuffed chicken with barley risotto or a hearty veal chop with porcini polenta and decorative emerald green vegetables. Confections tempt even the most devout calorie counters: impressive hand-rolled chocolate sushi made with Swiss and Belgian cocoa is oohed and aahed over, then disappears in mere minutes; chai white chocolate lollipops and strawberry “bruschetta” (balsamic-marinated berries with mascarpone and black pepper on biscotti) are lovely.
How much:
cocktails from $20 per person, sit-down dinner from $30; plus wait staff and chef’s charges
