This event organizing outfit counts some of the city’s best landmark and heritage venues as clients (the Toronto Zoo, Roy Thompson Hall, the ROM). Chef Rui Cardosa leads a food services team that comes from all corners of the globe, providing an expertise of international tastes. En Ville’s mantra, “the right food for the right people at the right time,” leads them into interesting territory, working with clients to customize menus that one night may include only organic, locally grown produce to another night’s blending of Pakistani and German cuisines for newlyweds. Of late, En Ville has partnered with Ted Reader (King of the Q) to enhance its existing grilled offerings, moving into the land of cedar planks and bacon-belted scallops. For parties big or small, formal or quirky, En Ville can also co-ordinate music, entertainment, security, car services, rentals, floral design, videography, photography, wine pairings and customized table designs. The chocolate fountain (once created in pink for the launch of J. Lo’s lingerie line) remains a favourite among sweet tooths.
How much:
buffet dinner approximately $20–$45 per person, plus wait staff, chef’s charges and rentals
