Partners Nanci Barone and Michael Tong (former owner of Ellipsis and former head chef at Kubo, respectively) credit their success in recent years to a personal touch. Although the team caters to groups of up to 200, most of their business comes by word of mouth. Appetizers include marinated quail with a marsala glaze, and roast Peking duck dumplings with a soy glaze.

- breakfast and lunch package $30 per person, lunch $20, dinner from $35; plus wait staff and chef’s charges.
