From a surprise birthday breakfast for two (think bite-size French toast, quail’s eggs Benny, and a fluffy asparagus and brie omelette) to a corporate bash for 2,000, this crew takes events of all sizes in stride, though exclusive, intimate dinner parties and in-home cocktail affairs are a specialty. Service is top-notch: all menus can be customized. They are often inspired by Thomas Keller’s acclaimed French Laundry recipes, which showcase seasonal foods: a toro tuna sushi tasting plate with warmed sake, and warm rosemary and parmesan dropped scones with herbed goat cheese and beet root, and a red wine–red currant reduction were part of the Pride gala meal this past June. Extravagant sweet tables are laden with zabaglione served over fresh berries, and marinated berries in pastry cream–filled chocolate cups.
How much:
Cocktails from $60 per person, dinner from $125.
