10tation Event Catering

Impressing high-profile palates is the name of the game at 10tation, the caterer of choice for such upscale venues as The Carlu, Design Exchange and the Distillery District. Since opening in 2000, the company has fed a broad range of celebrities: Colin Powell sampled nibbles at The Carlu, while Michael Bublé savoured sea bass skewers marinated in sake miso at a fundraiser for Princess Margaret Hospital. 10tation also did the menu for the past three Chanel parties at TIFF. Owner David D’Aprile grew up in the restaurant biz and spent two years in Italy earning his culinary stripes. And it shows: his presentation is creative and enticing. Tiny espresso cups hold rich chai crème brûlée; even mac-and-cheese gets the five-star treatment, served in crisp miniature parmigiano cups, each one topped with a black truffle. D’Aprile employs a full team of event planners and chefs to ensure that your event runs smoothly, whether it’s an intimate backyard wedding or a 700-guest extravaganza.

How much:
cocktails $20–$50 per person; dinner $75–$150; includes food, wait staff and rentals.
