Mink Nightclub and Lounge

From its discreet location to its sumptuous interior, Mink is the hidden gem of clubland. The lavish decor calls to mind Tuscany: tiled archways, trickling waterfalls and sculptures throughout. Piled with pillows, the rich velour sofas have lounge lizard written all over them (they’re reserved for bottle service). A stylish crowd packs the dance floor, moving to an easy mix of R&B, Top 40 and hip hop. The second floor is just as elegant—its patio is enclosed in winter, so it can be enjoyed year-round—decked out with white sofas, exotic artwork and palm trees. The atmosphere is more mellow up here, and there’s a clear view of the CN Tower. Considering the reasonable lineup, moderately priced drinks ($6 for cocktails) and friendly staff, it’s a wonder Mink isn’t better known. Cover $10–$20.
