Courthouse

This popular private nightclub, formerly a 19th-century courthouse, opens its doors to the public every Saturday. A sophisticated setting—four fireplaces, clusters of cozy sofas and lots of dimly lit corners—makes it possible to have an intimate conversation here. Upstairs, the cozy mezzanine level overlooks intimate candlelit tables. Three separate bars are well stocked with dishy bartenders, who serve plenty of two-ounce martinis ($11.50) and bottles of Stella Artois and Heineken ($6.50). Cover from $10.
