Shoehorned behind Future’s Bakery is Labyrinth Lounge, where a university student crowd dances and pre-drinks, while Annex regulars settle in to the split-level lounge to imbibe. The dungeon-like basement lends the nightspot its name. Upstairs, the decor is humdrum: blood-red walls, a bit of exposed brick, Warhol prints. There are just four beers on tap (50, Stella, Keith’s, Hoegaarden), but drink specials are de rigueur: Saturday, tequila is $3 a shot; on Sunday, pitchers of sangria go for less than $15 bucks; Wednesday means reduced-price martinis.
