This queer Latin nightclub and College Street staple is a drag Disneyland, where both straights and gays come to watch the “girls” do their big-haired thing. The drag is no different from what you can see almost any day of the week on Church Street, but the audience is more enthusiastic—it’s not uncommon to see stagette parties going head-to-head with the performers on the dance floor, proffering bills with their teeth. A good-hearted crowd thumps to a mix of Latin (salsa, merengue, bachata) alongside classic disco and Top 40 tunes.
