The latest nightlife outing from the Brant House and Maro masterminds, this retro beauty looks like a ’60s bachelor pad as redone by Wallpaper magazine. With its wood laminate ceiling, and mauve and turquoise light show, it could be Goldfinger’s grotto. Museum-mounted saddles and riding crops suggest both the building’s past as an RCMP stable and the sexy shape of things to come. The crowd is Bay Street aspirational and noticeably attractive, with lots of blondes in heels and guys with BlackBerrys. Players hobnob in sleek chocolate-coloured VIP booths with pre-stocked drinks tables. Open at 9 p.m. Thursday to Sunday, the club pulls a lineup by 11 p.m. Cover $10.
