Designed by the ubiquitous Liberty Entertainment Group (Crystalroom, Velvet Underground, Phoenix), C Lounge has the required spa–meets–cocktail lounge vibe, with a touch of Miami thrown in. There’s water everywhere, from the indoor waterfalls to the reflecting pool on the back patio. A soundtrack of Top 40 and R&B attracts chic downtown professionals. High rollers hold court in secluded alcoves, mingling with the low-roller crowd only in the unisex bathroom, a luxurious affair where masseuses give back rubs and makeup artists touch up women’s war paint.
