This classy urban oasis oozes South Beach chic. A heated sidewalk patio is decorated with potted palms and Tahitian wood benches; inside it’s all whitewashed walls and hardwood floors. Scattered candles add a touch of romance. The sophisticated crowd—a mix of polished professionals and pre-club drinkers—perches at the bar, sipping fruit-based cocktails, international wines and a bevy of $9 martinis (try the popular pomegranate-tinged Pom or the yummy butter ripple–flavoured Candy Apple). Service is lax, but the atmosphere is so mellow that nobody seems to mind. It’s a comfortable place to while away the hours.
