A beguiling spot, Sutra features shadowy booths, shimmering beaded curtains and hip music. The drinks are tempting, too: mojitos, martinis, piña coladas and a handful of cocktails served in coconut shells. It may be the skinniest bar in the city, but that only adds to the charm. The place feels mysterious and intimate, from the soul music to the hushed conversations. During the summer months, check out the sand-covered back patio.
