Remys

In the winter, this veteran Yorkville restaurant isn’t exactly a Saturday-night hot spot; the ratio of staff to customers is two to one. And the decor is dated: the hunter green marble (floors, bar, tabletops) has seemingly been there forever. Still, come summer, Remys is buzzing. Opened every April, the humongous rooftop patio draws a crowd. It’s equipped with heat lamps for cold nights and food for hungry stomachs; a kitchen and barbecue churn out beer-friendly snacks (wings, burgers, steaks). With plenty of room for hobnobbing and views of neighbouring terraces, this is a great perch for people-watching.
