Joining upscale coffee and burger shops on a formerly seedy block gone swell, this swank pub attracts an increasingly affluent mix of gays and straights, singles and couples. Decor offers some mild gangster glam: black walls, silver ceiling, giant black-and-white blow-up of a 1951 martini competition that looks like something Bogie might have enjoyed. With sports on TV and more than a dozen beers on tap, this is mostly a resto-pub, with live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
