The Pour House Irish Pub

An Annex crowd swills goblets of Guinness and Stella throughout this warren of dark-wooded rooms, where there are sufficient corners and nooks for hiding, and enough coach lamps to shed a warm glow. Most of the crowd is here to chat, some to listen to the live band (Friday and Saturday in winter only) play a mix of Top 40, cover tunes and Irish classics. The Celtic theme dominates the menu: Irishman’s bread, Kinsale County chicken wings, Patrick’s pierogies ($8) and even Irish onion soup. Shamrock fever is also evident at the bar, where 18 taps deliver Guinness, Kilkenny and Harp, plus the usual local suspects (Creemore, Keith’s).
