This tiny Parkdale bar is the perfect place to bend elbows with other hip, downscale drinkers. It’s both easy on the eye (local art and photography hang on exposed brick walls) and gentle on the ear (the soundtrack ranges from teary Hank Williams ballads to funky Jimmy Smith jazz grooves). The honky-tonk piano comes in handy during Johnny Cash tributes, held every month. On Sunday, Not My Dog features old-time fiddle band Makita Hack. The Asian-themed menu offers yummy ginger tofu ($6) and wasabi potatoes ($6), and the drink list is highlighted by Cline Zinfandel at $7 per glass ($30 per bottle).
