This tiny Parkdale bar is the perfect place to bend elbows with other hip, downscale drinkers. It’s both easy on the eye (local art and photography hang on exposed-brick walls) and gentle on the ear (the soundtrack is rock and soul; James Brown and Otis Redding are mainstays). Sean Cotton from The Undesirables hosts Mo’ Music Mondays; Thursdays feature the band-in-residence, which changes monthly. The Asian-themed menu offers chicken curry ($9) and east African samosas (two for $4). House wine is well priced at $6 a glass.
