Bars & ClubsBars

The Honest Lawyer

Tucked into one of countless suburban strip malls, this Richmond Hill haunt doesn’t look like anything special from the outside. Inside, it’s a sprawling sports bar playground—literally. The amber-lit room is lined with toys: pool tables, basketball hoops, air hockey, even a bowling lane. If you’re a couch potato, multiple TVs offer a clear view of the game from every seat in the house. There are premium and imported ales, on tap and bottled, and the pub grub’s good, too. Special events are frequent: Monday night offers all-you-can-eat wings; Tuesday is known for discounted flatbread; Wednesday’s theme is ping-pong and $5 martinis; on Thursday nights, half pints are $2.50; and DJs spin Top 40, hip hop and rock on Friday and Saturday nights.
