Establishments with hidden back-alley entryways like the Green Room’s always get our vote of approval. A favourite of students and those who consider journal writing a spectator sport, this venerable drinking den is also a friend to the funkier Annex denizens, who appreciate the unkempt library atmosphere. The bar serves decent food (quite slowly), reasonably priced booze and, judging by the intensity of some regulars, java that gets party-goers jumping.
